Principal Investigator

Jessica Ho Sook Yuin

Programme in Emerging Infectious Diseases, Duke-NUS Medical School

Jessica Ho is an Assistant Professor in the Programme in Emerging Infectious Diseases at Duke-NUS Medical School. She obtained her PhD from The Rockefeller University and subsequently completed her postdoctoral training at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (A*STAR) and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Her laboratory investigates how viral infections reshape host transcriptional and epigenetic landscapes, and how these changes influence viral biology and host responses to subsequent challenges. Through this work, the lab aims to uncover fundamental mechanisms of virus-host interactions and identify new therapeutic strategies against viral infections and virus-associated diseases.

We are always looking for curious and motivated individuals who share our passion for RNA and molecular biology, and who bring a sense of fun, curiosity, and adventure to scientific discovery!
